Ara is a registered psychologist who completed her Master of Psychology (Professional) in 2024. Ara loves working with children, adolescents, their families, school and other health service providers to create meaningful relationships and supports. Ara supports clients with a broad range of concerns, including anxiety, mood, stress, self-esteem, behavioural challenges, social differences, relationship difficulties and neurodivergence. Ara’s therapeutic style is warm, non-judgemental and prioritises feelings of safety and comfort in the therapeutic space, understanding that seeing a psychologist can be a new experience for young people. Ara’s approach is collaborative and she often works with schools and other health providers to ensure supports are wrap-around, as well as providing evidence-based intervention in session, drawing on the unique needs of each young person. Ara likes making sessions feel fun and relaxed, where young people are encouraged to be their authentic self.
